Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday said that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party had developed a nature of making the development works and good initiatives questionable.
‘Those who had spread rumours during the beginning of COVID-19 outbreak are now spreading misleading information about vaccines,’ he told a press conference at his house in Dhaka.
Quader said that prime minister Sheikh Hasina had set examples in checking the transmission of COVID-19 outbreak, providing treatment to infected people, standing beside the distressed people and keeping the wheels of economy running.
He said that BNP is jealous as the government managed vaccines without delay.
The minister said that the BNP does not have the minimum courtesy to thank the government. ‘BNP always tries to criticise the government,’ he added. ‘Though BNP could not come out from the cycle of making blind criticisms, the government of Sheikh Hasina will be able to complete the vaccination programme successfully with transparency,’ he said.
