Milestone student achieves first prize in painting competition

Milestone School and College Student Sutra Chakma won the first prize in a painting competition held marking Mujib Year, said a press release.

This virtual painting competition was organised by Philatelists Association of Bangladesh and the main theme of the competition was Bangabandhu and Bangladesh.

In this virtual painting competition, Sutra Chakma won the first place by drawing ‘The historic 7 March Speech of Bangabandhu’.

She received the first prize as the first place winner.  The prize giving ceremony was held on December 24 at the meeting room of the postal department at the GPO in Dhaka.

Founder and adviser of the Milestone School and College retired colonel Nurun Nabi, principal of Milestone College retried lieutenant colonel M Kamaluddin Bhuiyan, principal professor Md Shahidul Islam, principal of the Milestone Preparatory KG School Mrs Rifat Alam, administrative director of the Milestone College Md Masud Alam  congratulated emerging artist Sutra Chakma for her extraordinary achievement.
