Education minister Dipu Moni in an online briefing on Tuesday said that they were planning to hold the Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations of 2021 academic year in June and Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations in August.
She said that in association with the education boards the National Curriculum and Textbook Board was customising the syllabuses for both SSC and HSC fixing the core subjects and expected skills students required to learn.
The reviewed syllabuses will be published on January 15, she said.
‘We are expecting to open limited classes for the SSC and HSC candidates from February to April to teach them the lessons of the revised syllabuses,’ Dipu Moni said.
The educational institutions in the county remained closed since March 16 due to coronavirus crisis.
