The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in Bangladesh officially relaunched its state-of-the-art Dhanmondi branch on the 10th floor of the Bay’s Park Height.
The new energy-efficient branch is equipped with the latest air quality management system to protect human health and the environment. It leverages light, sound, and greenery to ensure improved branch experience for customers.
A brand new queue management system has also been designed to enhance the visitor experience and reduce the use of paper tickets, with customers able to enter service request details via an iPad and generate service tickets.
The bank hosted a webinar on December 15 in the presence of customers and employees to inaugurate the branch, said a press release on Monday.
Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, member of parliament, Dhaka-10, attended the programme as the chief guest.
Bangladesh Bank deputy governor Kazi Sayedur Rahman, and Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dhaka president Nihad Kabir were present as special guests.
HSBC Bangladesh CEO Mahbub ur Rahman and country head of wealth and personal banking Ahmed Saiful Islam, among others, attended the inaugural programme.
