An eight-year-old girl who went missing on Monday was found dead at Bheramara of Kushtia on Tuesday.
Being informed by local people, the police found the dead body floating in a pond at Juniyadaho in Bheramara and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital for autopsy, said Bheramara police sub-inspector M Habib.
The girl is a resident of Mirzapur in Bheramara.
