Activists of Bangladesh Students’ Union formed a human chain in front of the National Press Club on Saturday demanding the withdrawal of the expelling order of two students of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.
Their demands also include a uniform tuition fee structure for the private universities and tuition fee waiver during the COVID-19 crisis.
On November 17, the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh expelled two students as they were protesting in front of their Dhanmondi campus demanding 50 per cent tuition fee waiver.
Mahmood Sadaat Ruhul and Raihan Atique, the expelled students, were both eighth-semester students of Media Studies and Journalism department of the university.
