As consumer demand for mobile financial services continues to surge amid the COVID-19 outbreak, MetLife Bangladesh has introduced even more convenient ways of premium payment through BKash.
MetLife’s over one million customers can now use both MetLife’s website and the BKash App to instantly pay their premiums, said a press release.
With the newly introduced web-based direct premium payment feature, customers can easily and conveniently pay premiums directly on the MetLife Bangladesh web site with their BKash accounts.
MetLife customers can also pay their premiums through the BKash app.
In order to pay the premiums, customers need to select MetLife from pay bill option on the BKash app. They can complete the payment by providing premium information and the BKash pin.
Both of the above payment methods offer 24/7 payment accessibility and instant payment acknowledgement through SMS and digital receipts, making the payment process paperless and envi-ronment friendly.
With the addition of these new features to MetLife’s existing array of digital servicing channels, which includes mobile financial services, Online Banking and Electronic Fund Transfer, and debit and credit card payment facilities, MetLife customers can continue to pay their premiums quickly and easily without having to visit a physical location.
bKash is the largest Mobile Financial Service provider in Bangladesh with more than 240,000 agents across the country and 48 million registered accounts.
Commenting on the new feature, MetLife Bangladesh’s General Manager, Syed Hammadul Karim, Said, ‘Insurance is a vital tool for safeguarding people’s future and at MetLife, we always strive to introduce innovative services that make life easier for our customers. By enhancing our digital premium payment channels, we believe more people will be able to come under the protection of insurance’.
