BRAC University has achieved substantial growth both in domestic and international student enrolment, even at a time when many observers predict a decline in student numbers due to COVID-19 pandemic.
After conducting online admission tests, BRAC University has successfully run the Summer and Fall semesters with the help of its online learning platform ‘buX’ for both domestic and international students.
In the semesters, BRAC achieved higher number of student enrolment in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, compared with the number of the past year.
Besides the growth in domestic student enrolment, the institution has also achieved a sharp rise in the International students’ number. 120 new international students have enrolled in the Fall semester alone.
BRAC University introduced two student-centric initiatives, namely Student Assistant Fund for the Summer and Fall semesters and the online learning platform called ‘buX’, said Vincent Chang, vice-chancellor of BRAC University.
