Parjatan trains 100 food workers

National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute trained 100 poor-but-talent food workers in healthy food preparation for free at its premise at Mohakhali in the capital on Saturday.

Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation organised the programme to create skilled manpower to prepare and serve healthy food, said a press release.

BPC chairman Ram Chandra Das attended its inauguration ceremony at 11:00am as chief guest while director Md Abdus Samad was present as a special guest.

Jaheda Begum, Head of Food and Beverage department of NHTTI conducted the training programme of 100 workers in 100 minutes.

BPC public relation manager Ziaul Haque Hawlader and NHTTI principal Akhlaqur Rahman were also present on the occasion.
