The campaign of cleaning Shampur canal started at Baroitola point following the direction. Nearly 100 DSCC workers joined the drive, which is expected to solve waterlogging woes and cut pollution.

About Dhaka south’s ongoing drive in Dhanmondi Lake, he said those who walk and do exercise in Dhanmondi Lake will enjoy the results of the cleanup campaign in the area.
