Bangladesh Bank and Ansar-VDP Development Bank signed a participation agreement for disbursing special grants allocated for braving coronavirus crisis.
The deal was signed at the conference room of the agricultural credit department at the central bank head office in Dhaka on Monday, said a press release.
According to the agreement, Ansar-VDP Development Bank received Tk 300 crore for disbursing agricultural loan and Tk 200 crore to disburse microcredit.
Bangladesh Bank agricultural credit department general manager Md Abdul Hakim and Ansar-VDP Development Bank managing director Md Mosaddek-ul-Alam signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Ansar-VDP Development Bank general manager Md Alauddin and other executives were also present on the occasion.
