Central Committee of the Communist Party of China greeted Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina on her 74th birthday.
The party’s international department minister Song Tao issued a message in this connection on Sunday.
He praised Sheikh Hasina’s leadership and said, ‘The CPC stands ready to further strengthen its exchanges and cooperation with the Awami League to build a new type of party-to-party relations… and bring even greater benefits to our two countries and two peoples.’
Sheikh Hasina— the eldest of the five children of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding president of Bangladesh, and Begum Fazilatunnesa— was born at Tungipara in Gopalganj on September 28, 1947.
