National Film Award-winning filmmaker Masud Pathik’s government grant-winning film, ‘Maya-The Lost Mother’, will participate in the upcoming Indo American International Festival of World Cinema in Mumbai, India.
The festival will be held online from November 17 to 27. Maya- The Lost Mother has previously participated in 14 international film festivals and bagged four international awards.
‘I am happy to have been invited to the prestigious film festival which will be held in Mumbai, India in October. The festival will also be held online. I think COVID-19 will effect a change in how we arrange film screenings and film festivals,’ Masud Pathik told New Age.
Maya-The Lost Mother stars Jyotika Jyoti, Tollywood actress Mumtaz Sorcar, Pran Roy, Syed Hasan Imam, Jhuna Chowdhury, poet Aslam Sunny and others.
