Guardian Life Insurance Limited in association with implementation partner Lighthouse Bangladesh launched an online finishing school programme for skills building of young professionals at a virtual ceremony held on September 5, said a press release.
The eight hour long programme has been designed to assist the young community by providing the knowledge and skills on four critical dimensions – discovering themselves amidst the new norm, empowering themselves towards self-development, self-management as they embark in the career journey and to lead themselves to self-mastery, said the release.
The programme titled ‘Guardian Life Insurance Presents Accelerate —Guardian of the Future’ aims to develop 200 Guardians within the next two months.
Dhaka University, Daffodil University and Presidency University have joined as strategic partners and another 15 prominent educational institutions are in the process of getting on board.
Regarding the launch of the programme, Guardian Life CEO MM Monirul Alam said, ‘GLI understands the importance of skilled youth and always promotes skill development, especially in youth. A developed nation is inevitably a skilled nation. In times of crisis, classroom learning for skill development may be unsafe or impossible.’
