Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission arranged a discussion and prayer session marking National Mourning Day on Saturday on the 45th death anniuversary of late president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, his family and other relatives killed on August 15 in 1975.
The programme, shortened due to coronavirus outbreak, was held in Dr Anwar Hossain Auditorium at the BAEC headquarters in Dhaka where poems were recited and songs were rendered on Sheikh Mujib.
Science and technology minister Yafes Osman was chief guest and secretary Md Anwar Hossain of the ministry was special guest of the programme presided over by BAEC chairman Md Sanwar Hosssain, said a press release.
