North South University in collaboration with NSU Global Health Institute jointly organised a webinar on the topic ‘For a Better Tomorrow: Scientific Analysis and Dialogue on the Latest Covid-19 Development’ on Tuesday, said a press release.
It was an interactive webinar where professionals exchanged of dialogue between and shared their views of the current scenario and the reasons for being optimistic, which will lead to a better tomorrow.
Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, deputy minister of the Ministry of Education, was present as chief guest while former president of FBCCI MA Kashem, chairman of board of trustees of NSU was present as special guest. Professor Atiqul Islam, vice-chancellor of NSU chaired the event.
Professor M Shahidullah, senior child specialists and president of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and chair of National COVID-19 technical advisory committee, Professor Sanya Tahmina Jhora, additional director general of Directorate General of Health Services, Professor ASM Maksud Kamal, pro-vice-chancellor of University of Dhaka, Professor Ahmed Hossain of NSU Global Health Institute, Mohammad Mushtuq Husain, adviser of IEDCR, were present as speakers at the webinar.
Professor Hasan Mahmud Reza, acting dean of School of Health and Sciences of NSU moderated the webinar.
