Human Resource Development Institute of Daffodil International University and The Foundation of Chartered Taxation of Bangladesh are jointly going to launch ‘Undergraduate Certificate in Tax Management’ course for undergraduate students, said a press release.
In this regard, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two organisations at 71 Milonayoton of DIU in Dhaka on Sunday.
Professor SM Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, acting vice-chancellor of DIU, and Muzaffar Ahmed, president of FCTB, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Professor Mohammad Masum Iqbal, dean of faculty of business and entrepreneurship, Syed Mizanur Rahman, director of student affairs, Ejaz-Ur-Rahman, deputy director of HRDI, Abdul Mannan Sikder, member of NBR and founder adviser, Mohidul Islam, joint commissioner of NBR and adviser of FCTB, Zahurul Islam, chartered accountant, founder member of FCTB and Harun-Ur-Rashid Farid, advocate Supreme Court of Bangladesh and founder member of FCTB and other officials of both the organisations were present.
Under the MoU, students who have passed HSC and equivalent examinations can be admitted in this course. The duration of the course will be three months. Classes are expected to start on September 15.
