Belarus citizen in home quarantine dies

A Belarus citizen working at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant died in Green City residential area in Pabna on Thursday.

Deceased Eusu Fau Timur, 42, came to Rooppur on July 16 and had been on a home quarantine since then, said Ruhul Kuddus, in-charge of the plant.

A physician said that he might have died of cardiac arrest. 

Timur went for sleep after launch in his room. Later, locals found him irresponsive on the bed and informed the doctors, said Fakhrul Islam, a doctor of Atomstroyexport, the main contractor firm of the project.

‘We found him dead. He might have died of a cardiac arrest in sleep,’ he said.

Nasir Uddin, the officer-in-charge of Ishwardi Police Station, said that they have recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
