Detective police arrested two members of a ring who committed a burglary in the disguise of domestic help and a gold trader from Dhaka and Cumilla on Saturday.
The arrestees were Amena Begum, Kohinur Akhter, and gold trader Abul Hasem.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police detective police’s Kotwali zone additional deputy commissioner Saifur Rahman Azad said that last August, Bichitra Rani De, a doctor and mother of two children, hired Amena through a broker named Kohinur.
Bichitra went to work leaving her two children with Amena and locking up the door from outside.

She filed a case with Bangshal police station and detectives started to investigate the matter, but there was no image or identification available of the accused.
After months of searching, DB police arrested Amena from Cumilla on Saturday night after arresting Kohinur from Dhaka.
Amena admitted that she had sold the gold to jewellery shop owner Abul Hashem in Old Dhaka and got Tk 1, 28,000.
Police then arrested the gold trader, but could not find the gold.
