Police rescue Khushi missing since 7 years

Gulshan police recently rescued Khushi Ara, who went missing seven years ago, DMP News reports on Sunday.

Khushi, then 11-year-old, daughter of Azizar Rahman of village Gucchagram Pakerhat at Khansamain Dinajpur, worked as a domestic help at the house of Masudduzam Sarkar in Gulshan since 2012.

One day, she went missing from the house around September 2013 and could not be found since then.

A general diary was filed in this regard on September 28, 2013 at Gulshan police station.

On June 30, 2020, on information, Gulshan police rescued Khushi from a house at Bou Bazar in Korail slum.

Sub-inspector Zabirul Islam, during interrogation came to know that Khushi lost her way home on the day she went missing.

A cleaner at Gulshan DCC market Monwara Begum found her on the road at Gudaraghat and took her to her home at Korail slum as Khushi failed to give address of where she lived.
