Renowned production house Impress Telefilm Limited joined as one of the producers of acclaimed filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s upcoming film ‘No Land’s Man’, says a press release.

Managing director of Impress Telefilm Limited Faridur Reza Sagar said, ‘We have always tried to stand by the important local films that have been taking our film arena forward. Our films were screened at Toronto, Busan and other prestigious film festivals across the globe. We were there for Farooki when he ventured into filmmaking. “No Land’s Man” is Farooki’s first International film and we are ready to support him like always.’

‘I have been receiving support from Faridur Reza Sagar from the very beginning. My first film “Bachelor” was released under the banner of Impress Telefilm Limited. Following which, the organisation produced my films “Third Person Singular Number” and “Piprabidya”. I am very happy to have Faridur Reza Sagar beside me,’ said Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.

The 70 per cent shooting for ‘No Land’s Man’ was done in the United States and rest of the film was shot in India and Australia. The post production was postponed due to the sudden outbreak of COVID-19.

The film stars Bangladeshi singer and actor Tahsan Rahman Khan, Indian actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and debuting Australian actress Megan Mitchell in lead roles.

Besides, the film also stars Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Nusraat Faria Mazhar, ABM Sumon, Bappy Chowdhury and others.

‘No Land’s Man’ won the APSA-MPA script development fund in 2014 and was selected for Asian Project Market at Busan, South Korea. The film was also selected as the best project at India’s Film Bazaar in the same year.
