Cricketer Nazmul Islam and his family recovered from coronavirus infection as their samples tested negative on Wednesday.
Left-arm spinner Nazmul, who was actively involved with voluntary activities in his locality, Narayangonj was found positive after his samples were tested on June 20.
Nazmul told New Age that he started feeling better after five days and provided the samples of him and his family members for retesting on Monday.
`I started feeling well five days after I got the news that I tested positive for COVID-19. On Monday I and my family members again provided samples for testing.
`Today [Wednesday], a few minutes ago I found the report and it is negative. It gives me such joy. Please pray for me. My family members also came out negative after being tested,’ said Nazmul.
Former Cricketer Nafees Iqbal and his family members also felt better and are now waiting for results after providing samples on Tuesday.
