Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has recommended 13 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on 31st December 2019 subject to the approval of the 25th annual general meeting, said a press release.
The decision was taken at the 348th board of directors meeting of the bank held over a video conference on Sunday.
The bank’s chairman Abdus Samad presided over the virtual meeting.
The meeting decided the 25th virtual annual general meeting of the bank would be held on September 3, 2020 and the record date was set for July 30, 2020.
The bank’s vice-chairman, Md Abdus Salam, members Hafez Md Enayetullah, Salim Rahman, Md Liakat Ali Chowdhury, Md Amir Uddin PPM, Nazmul Ahsan Khaled, Abdul Malek Mollah, Md Harun-Ar-Rashid Khan, Md Anowar Hossain, Badiur Rahman, Kh Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Ahamedul Hoque, Abu Naser Mohammad Yeahea, Niaz Ahmed, Mohammed Emadur Rahman, Badsha Meah, Mohammed Haroon and M Kamaluddin Chowdhury, managing director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury, senior executive vice-president and company secretary Md Mahmudur Rahman and other senior executives were present at the virtual meeting.
