A total of 123 Indian nationals who were stuck in Bangladesh amid coronavirus lockdown in India returned home through Akhaura Land Port on Friday.

Assistant sub-inspector of Akhaura Immigration Morshedul Haque confirmed the matter and said that the Indians were stuck in Bangladesh due to ban on international transport due to the lockdown over COVID-19 pandemic.

Another batch of Indian citizens returned earlier on May 28, and 120 more on Thursday through the Akhaura Land Port, he said.
