Outgoing health services division secretary Md Asadul Islam

The government on Thursday transferred Land Reform Board chairman Md Abdul Mannan to the health services division as secretary, replacing Md Asadul Islam.
The public administration ministry issued a gazette notification to the effect.
Asadul has been transferred to the planning division as secretary.
On May 22, the government appointed additional secretary Abu Hena Morshed Zaman as new director of Central Medical Stores Depot of the Directorate General of Health Services, responsible for procurement of medical equipment, on deputation.
Morshed Zaman, who worked as the Deputy Secretary General of Bangladesh National Commission for UNESCO, replaced outgoing CMSD director brigadier general Mohammad Shahid Ullah.
The changes in the key posts came following allegations of irregularities in the procurement of masks for health service providers in the public sector during the COVID-19 crisis.
