Another Bangladeshi lawmaker tested positive for COVID-19

Awami League member of parliament for Jamalpur-2 constituency Faridul Hoque Khan Dulal tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday night.

Confirming the infection, Faridul Hoque told New Age on Thursday that he had no COVID-19 symptom and no physical complication.

The MP also said that he had been maintaining self-isolation in his Jamalpur house, but would move to Dhaka if his condition deteriorated.

The 64-year-old MP also said that some other local AL leaders and local government representatives also tested positive for COVID-19.

So far, five MPs have tested COVID-19 positive.

Earlier, AL MP Mohammed Nasim for Sirajganj-1, ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury for Chattogram-6, Shahiduzzaman Sarker for Naogaon-2, and Mohammad Ebadul Karim for Brahmanbaria-5 tested positive.
