FICCI provides 11,000 PPE to DGHS

Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry provided 11,000 units of high-quality personal protective equipment suits to Directorate General of Health Services to help the nation in its fight against COVID-19.

FICCI president Rupali Chowdhury handed over the PPE to the acting director general of DGHS Professor Nasima Sultana on Saturday while EC member of FICCI Shwapna Bhowmick and executive director TIM Nurul Kabir were present, said a press release.

Among these PPE 1,000 units are specialised for medical grade PPE and rest 10,000 units for frontline fighters at the hospitals, ie, doctors, nurses, and relevant hospital staff who are extending medical services to coronavirus patients.
