Bangladesh Tennis Federation on Tuesday provided financial support to 41 vulnerable players, who are in need during coronavirus pandemic. Players, who could be present at the National Tennis Complex in Ramna in the capital, received Tk 5,000 each while the other players were due to receive their money through their bKash accounts, said a media release. Acting secretary of the BTF Masood Karim, who is also the National Sports Council secretary, distributed the money among the recipients. State minister for foreign affairs and BTF president Md Shahriar Alam took the fundraising initiative for this charity with the sponsorships from federation members. — New Age
