Grameen Telecom provides protective gear to hospitals

Grameen Telecom distributed personal protective equipment, KN-95 mask, hand glove and protective goggles to some hospitals across the country for the doctors, nurses and other staff to protect them from coronavirus, said a press release on Saturday.

Grameen Telecom distributed 5,500 high quality PPE, 16,500 KN-95 masks, 11,000 hand gloves and 990 protective goggles among staff and doctors of 11 hospitals.

The hospitals that received the donation are — Chittagong General Hospital, Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases Chittagong, Khulna Medical College Hospital, Khulna Diabetic Hospital, Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, SK Hospital Mymensingh, Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, Rajshahi Infections Hospital, Dedicated Corona Isolation Hospital Rangpur, Sahid Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital Sylhet and Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital Barisal.
