Summit, CMPort give PPE, masks

Summit Group vice-chairman Md Farid Khan hands over two more thermal scanners on behalf of Summit and CMPort to Brigadier General Md Shahidullah, Director of Central Medical Store Depot in Dhaka on Thursday. — Press Release

Summit Group and China Merchant Port Group have jointly provided high quality two thousand protective suits, fifty thousand masks and two thermal scanners to medical workers.

The consignment was handed over to the Central Medical Store Depot, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, at Tejgaon in Dhaka.

On the occasion, Summit Group chairman Muhammed Aziz Khansaid, ‘We are grateful to support to the dedicated health personnel. We had initially sent five thermal scanners and now we have sent two more scanners, masks and protective suits for medical professionals.”

CMPort CEO Bai Jingtao said, ‘In recognition to the great friendship between the people of Bangladesh and China, CMPort is willing to standby and assist Bangladesh to tackle coronavirus. We are very happy to make the donation together with Summit Group.’
