Subornogram Foundation distributed food items — rice, lentil, flour, potato, onion, red chilli — among 150 poor and destitute families in Rishipara, Mayadwip area of Sonargaon in Narayanganj for their sustenance during the shutdown, said a press release.

Subornogram Foundation in association with Sonargaon Foundation also distributed coronavirus awareness leaflet, hand sanitiser, soap, mask among the poor people to tackle the coronavirus situation.

They also sprayed insecticide in Sonargaon for helping the inhabitants to fight the COVID-19 epidemic.

Subornogram Foundation volunteers produced hand sanitiser in their laboratory, which they distributed among the poor free of cost, the release added.
