Directorate of secondary and higher education has issued a circular asking students from Class VI to Class X and their teachers to watch lessons taught on Sangsad TV daily for continuing assessments until schools open after the vacation.
The circular published on the directorate website on Wednesday also asked the students to do homework daily as assigned by the lectures of the TV programmes.
Twenty per cent of marks allocated for regular assessments of the high school students by their teachers would be evaluated based on homework given on the TV lectures, director general of the directorate Syed Golam Faruk said.
‘It’s an effort to keep the students in regular studies during the unscheduled vacation for coronavirus mitigation,’ he said.
