The Asian Hockey Federation on Wednesday postponed the Junior Asia Cup hockey due to global coronavirus pandemic.
The tournament was scheduled in Dhaka’s Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium from June 4-12.
The AHF also postponed Women’s Champions Trophy Hockey, due in South Korea from June 14-21.
Bangladesh Hockey Federation said it would work with AHF and the other relevant bodies before announcing a fresh date for the tournament.
Five people have died of coronavirus in Bangladesh so far among 39 infected people.
