With cinemas closing their doors in several states across India, Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ has finally ended its marathon run at the box office, reports timesofindia.
According to the latest report on Boxofficeindia.com, till its tenth weekend the historical drama managed to rake in 269.60 crore. The film could have earned over Rs 270, had cinemas not been shut.
‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ was expected to hit the 100 day mark in Mumbai, Pune and a few centres in Maharastra which could have been a rare feat. In the past ten years, ‘Baahubali - The Conclusion’ entertained for 100 days in Ahmedabad, Surat and Noida while ‘Baahubali - The Beginning’ earned the 100 day mark in several centres.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ hit the screens on January 10. It clashed at the box office with Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak’ and went to mark a glorious run at the box office. Apart from Ajay Devgn, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ also featured Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in pivotal roles.
