Castigating the perpetrators, who hatched hideous conspiracy aiming to remove the name of the country’s founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from the history of the country, road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader on Tuesday said they would be wiped out politically.
‘Conspirators, who planned to remove the name of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will be wiped out politically (from the country),’ he told newsmen.
Quader, also the Awami League general secretary, came up with the statements after placing a wreath at the portrait of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the city’s Dhanmondi-32, on the occasion of the birth centenary celebrations of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He said under the dynamic leadership of prime minister Sheikh Hasina, the country was marching towards development indomitably and it would go far way in the days to come.
As the nation got new enthusiasm on the verge of celebrating the 100th birthday of architect of the independence of the country, he expressed his optimism for building ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
