Saudi-returnee quarantined

A woman who returned from Saudi Arabia on Saturday has been quarantined at her house in Monirampur upazila of Jashore district.

The woman went to a local health complex following sore throat and cough on Monday night. At one stage she informed that she returned from Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

Later, the health complex authorities contacted the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research.

IEDCR scientific officer Dr Alamgir Hossain suggested the woman to stay in quarantine in her house for two weeks, said Suvra Rani Debnath, upazila health officer.
