3 — Bangladesh opener Liton Das’ 59 against Zimbabwe in Dhaka on Monday in their first of the two-match Twenty20 series, is his third fifty in this format. This was also Liton’s highest score in four Twenty20s against Zimbabwe, with his previous best being 38.


48 — Bangladesh won the first Twenty20 of the two-match series against Zimbabwe by 48 runs, their biggest victory over them in this format. Their previous biggest win came in 2006 in Khulna, when they beat them by 43 runs.


62 — Soumya Sarkar hit an unbeaten 62 off just 32 balls against Zimbabwe on Monday, which was his best score in Twenty20s. His previous best was 51 against Sri Lanka in Dhaka in February 2018.


58 — Chris Mpofu’s 1-58 against Bangladesh in their first Twenty20 match on Monday is the most expensive bowling figure in this format between the two countries. Bangladesh all-rounder Sakib al Hasan held the record earlier, when he conceded 49-0 in September last year in Dhaka.


92 — Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das formed a 92-run opening stand in the first Twnety20 against Zimbabwe on Monday. This was the highest opening stand in Twenty20s for Bangladesh. The pair also held the previous highest opening stand, when they made 74-run against Sri Lanka in March 2018 in Colombo.


200 — Bangladesh posted 200-3 against Zimbabwe in their first Twenty20 match on Monday, which was the highest total in any match between the two countries. Zimbabwe previously held the record when they scored 187-6 in Khulna in January 2016. — New Age
