‘Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo’ to compete in Indian film fest

National Film Award winning director Ashraf Shishir’s film ‘Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo’ is going to compete in the upcoming 12th Bengaluru International Film Festival in India.

‘Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo’, produced by Impress Telefilms Ltd, will compete under the Asian Cinema Competition Category along with 12 other films in the festival, which will be held from February 26 to March 4.

The film follows the deceptive turns and twists of history. From the liberation war to the small dreams of people of a locality, their struggles and aspirations are featured in the film.

Shot in Ishwardi of Pabna and adjacent villages surrounding the Padma river and the Hardinge Bridge, the film stars Raisul Islam Azad, Sumona Soma, Shadhin Khasru, Imran Imu, Masum Aziz, Kaberi Rai Chowdhury and others.
