Farhad, who hit 10 fours and five sixes, hit pacer Abu Hider for a four to bring up his maiden century in the running BCL in the 135th over of their innings.

East Zone began their reply well with a 63-run opening stand between Pinak and Ashraful, but Razzak sent back the pair in consecutive overs to reduce them to 68-2.
Skipper Imrul Kayes (22) and Mahmudul Hasan (21 not out) tried to repair their innings with a 41-run stand but Shafiul bowled the former in the penultimate over of the day as Mahmdul and Afif (0 not out) remained unbeaten at the end of day’s play.
