A lecture titled Nobel Science Lecture was held at the District Shilpakala Academy Seminar Hall in the port city of Chattogram on Monday.
Drishty Chittagong organised the seminar on the last year’s Nobel prize in physiology and medicine.
Physician and television personality Abdur Noor Tushar was the keynote speaker at the event.
Among the panelists were Professor Junaid Siddiqui of pathology and parasitology department at the University of Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science, and genetic engineering and biotechnology teacher Mohammad Rafiqul Islam of Chittagong University.
CU genetic engineering and biotechnology department’s teacher Adnan Mannan conducted the event.
Drishty Chittagong president Masud Bakul and senior vice-president Saif Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
