Aga Khan School of Dhaka holds its Graduation and Award Ceremony for the academic year 2018-19 at a Dhaka hotel on Saturday. — Press release

The Aga Khan School organised a graduation and award giving ceremony at the Dhaka Regency Hotel in the capital on Saturday.

Certificates were handed over to the 62 graduating students of grade XII by the principal of the school Dale Taylor and head teacher of the secondary section Fahmida Chowdhury, said a press release.

The graduating class also included students from the first cohort of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, said the release, adding that awards were also handed over to employees serving from five to 25 years.

Independent University of Bangladesh vice-chancellor Omar Rahman addressed the programme as the chief guest. He advised the graduates to build their future after taking time in exploring options and avenues and underscored the need to be highly adaptable to a world in flux that they would be facing ahead in their career.

Dale Taylor emphasised the school’s vision to enable students to have a balanced life with the quest for knowledge and essential wisdom.

The Aga Khan School is considered one of the top performing English medium schools in Dhaka and is also authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and Diploma Programme, along with the Cambridge IGCSE and A Levels.
