Two siblings, who were injured in a clash over land dispute at Chauhali of Sirajganj on Friday, died in Dhaka early Saturday.

Deceased Kawsar Rahman, 28, and Milton Rahman, 30, were sons of Hayatun Nesa.

Jahangir Alam, officer-in-charge of Chauhali police station, said that the duo had a previous enmity with their maternal uncle Rafikul Islam Bakul.

As a sequel to the enmity, Rafikul and his brothers beat Kawsar and Milton up with sticks on Friday leaving both of them critically injured.

Kawsar died on the way and Milton died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

‘Police is taking preparations to send the bodies to Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hospital in Sirajganj for autopsy, the OC said adding that the victims’ mother filed a case with Chauhali police station.
