The country’s dedicated TV channel for children Duronto Television celebrated its first founding anniversary organising a programme at the TV channel's office on Saturday and announced schedule of its fifth season.
The TV channel’s head of programme Md Ali Haider, directors and writers of the upcoming series like Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, Golam Muqtadir, Matia Banu, Partho Pratim Haldar, Jamal Hossain Abir, Monirul Hossain Shopon and others were present at the programme.
‘There are a lot of new additions to the list of programmes. We continuously thrive to make entertaining programmes for the Bangladeshi parents and their children. We also focus on providing a learning experience through our programmes,’ Haider said.
The fifth season will feature programmes like Ultapulta: Baba Thakey Bashay, B te Bondhu: Hutuputi and Aloy Bhubon Bhora.
Ultapulta: Baba Thakey Bashay’s creative director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury said, ‘The programme will help nurture the thought process of the children.’
B te Bondhu: Hutuputi’s writer Matia Banu Shuku said, ‘We have introduced new characters in the series and hope everyone will enjoy it.’
Aloy Bhubon Bhora’s director Monirul Hossain Shipon said ‘Through the programme we will teach children ethical behaviour the same way our grandparents used to teach us telling stories.’
