Bangladeshis in Korea celebrate Eid

Bangladeshi diaspora living in Korean city Jeonju celebrated the Eid-ul-Fitr by organising two-day programmes.

Following the Eid prayer at Abu Baqr Siddique Mosque on Friday morning with the Muslims from different countries of the world, the Bangladeshi expatriates entertained each other.

An Eid reunion event was organised at the Chonbuk National University on Saturday in which Bangladeshi students studying at different universities of North Jeolla Province and their family members participated.  

They prepared different delicious Bangladeshi dishes and participated in different games.

Chonbuk National University’s pharmacology professor Han Jung Chae was present at the programme.

She praised the Bangladeshi students and shared Eid greetings with them saying, ‘I like Bangladeshi foods and that’s why I’m here with my mother.’

Shamima Nasrin, Tazvi Rahman, Shirin Sharmin, Abdul Latif Masud Rana and others took part in different games.

Shibly Noman presided over the event, which was moderated by Afzal Hossain.
