Responding to the government’s call of returning to normal life, three operatives of the banned Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir surrendered to police on Monday afternoon.
The three siblings — Tanjib Ahmed, 35, Tanjir Ahmed, 32, and Masuma Khatun, all residents of Old Kosba area of Jessore town, surrendered to superintendent of police Anisur Rahman around 12:30pm.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Elias Ali confirmed this saying the three siblings surrendered to police in a bid to return to normal life.
Earlier, police published a poster with photos of 11 suspected operatives of Hizb-ut Tahrir, including the three siblings.
