Both Bangladesh men’s and women’s team advanced into the knock-out stage of the 4th Roll Ball World Cup on Sunday at the capital on Sunday.
Bangladesh men’s team managed two comfortable victories against Myanmar and Fiji to make the last 16 as group D champions while women’s team saw them in the quarter-final after Philippines gave them a walk-over.
Bangladesh men’s team trashed Myanmar 11-0 in their third group match at the Saheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium on Sunday morning.
Later in evening men in red and green celebrated another huge 9-0 win against Fiji in their last match at captain Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.
