SAF scholars’ reunion held at UAP

A reunion of the South Asian Foundation scholars was held at the University of Asia Pacific in Dhaka on Friday.

Kamal Hossain, chairman of the Bangladesh chapter of the South Asian Foundation, was present as the chief guest, said a release.

Asia Pacific University vice-chancellor Jamilur Reza Choudhury, also SAF Bangladesh chapter vice-chairman, presided over the event, where SAF Bangladesh secretary Bachchu Shekh and UAP pro-vice-chancellor MR Kabir were also present.

The event was attended by SAF scholars who had completed their higher education in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.

Every year 10 Bangladeshi students are awarded the SAF full scholarship to pursue their higher education at different universities in the SAARC region.
