70 Bangladeshi students awarded for excellence in Cambridge int’l exams

Cambridge International awarded 70 Bangladeshi students for their exceptional performances in Cambridge international exams in 2018-19 at an award giving ceremony at International Convention City Bashundhara on Saturday.

At the ceremony jointly organised by the British Council and Cambridge International, the awardees received 80 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards in the four categories of ‘Top in the World, Top in Country, High Achievement Award and Best Across.

Among them, 21 awardees received ‘Top in the World’ award.

British high commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chatterton Dickson, British Council director Tom Miscioscia, director (operations examinations) Zunayed Ahmed, Cambridge International deputy director (regional development) Thomas Kendon, acting regional director (South Asia) Satyajit Sarkar, country manager Shahin Reza and alumnus from Chittagong Grammar School Farin Islam among others were present at the ceremony.
