A four-member Indian delegation of Bangladesh-India Joint Agriculture Working Group visited Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute in Gazipur on Sunday.
BARI director Mohammad Miaruddin welcomed the four-member Indian delegation to the BARI headquarters, said a release. Joint Agriculture Working Group’s Indian side co-chair Dolly Chakrabarty led the delegation.
The other members of the delegation included agriculture, cooperation and farmers welfare director Prashant Armorikar, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India director Amit Sharma, and first secretary of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka and chancery head Midhun TR.
BARI director general Abul Kalam Azad and principal scientific officer Dilwar Ahmed Chowdhury, among others, were present during the visit.
