Eminent Rabindra Sangeet singer Adity Mohsin will celebrate her two-decade music career through a solo music show scheduled to be held at Bangladesh Krishibid Institution Audaturiam on December 6.
A press conference on the upcoming programme titled ‘Arun Alor Anjali’ was held at Tawfiq Aziz Khan Seminar Hall at the Daily Star Building on Sunday.
Coordinator of the festival committee Syed Apon Ahsan and honorary member of the committee Nazrul Sangeet singer Sadia Afrin Mallik, among others, were present at the press conference.
Adity Mohsin started her musical journey through Bangladesh’s acclaimed music academy Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts. She received a scholarship from the Indian government to study at Visva- Bharati University in Santiniketan. She secured the first position in both Bachelor and Master’s degree final exams. While studying at Santiniketan, Adity Mohsin received training from legendary musicians and singers like Tagore artiste Kanika Banerjee, Nilima Sen and others.
Adity returned to Bangladesh after completing her master’s degree in Rabindra Sangeet and dedicated her life to music. Besides practicing music, she worked as a Rabindra Sangeet teacher in Chhayanaut for 10 years.
